Common questions
What happens after the 3-day trial?
You'll be charged $40/month automatically unless you cancel. You can cancel anytime during or after the trial — we'll send a reminder before the first charge.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. One click from your account page. No phone calls, no "are you sure" gauntlet. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the billing period.
Do I keep my data if I cancel?
Yes. TimeBox is local-first — your calendar history lives on your device, not our servers. Canceling means you stop getting new features and support, but your existing data stays where it is.
Why a subscription instead of a one-time fee?
TimeBox is actively evolving. A subscription funds ongoing development, bug fixes, and new features (voice editing, mobile, AI insights). If we ever settle into a stable v1, we'll revisit lifetime pricing.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal (via Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor). Prices include applicable VAT/sales tax.
Do you offer refunds?
The 3-day free trial is your no-risk window to decide. After that, email
time-box@emilykang.dev within 14 days if something's not working and we'll sort it out.
